We created this not-for-profit site to help raise money for the new Santa Maria Animal Center, a state-of-the-art facility, is scheduled for a Summer 2003 groundbreaking. It will include an inviting animal care and “get acquainted” area, educational center and, most vitally, a spay and neuter clinic.
While most of the funding is secured, there remained a need to fully equip the spay and neuter clinic. To support this significant endeavor, the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation hosted the inaugural Santa Barbara Fur Ball, a gala event to raise funds and awareness for the Santa Maria Animal Center.
A success, the Fur Ball "cough it up!" raised over $25,000!
